He further emphasized that by implementing these eligibility requirements, the USDA is "restoring integrity to these programs and ensuring assistance goes to those it was intended to help."
The action aims at preventing illegal aliens from accessing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, aligning with existing federal regulations regarding program eligibility.
