Brendan Boyle, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman for Pennsylvania’s 2nd district since 2015, has taken to social media to express his concerns over recent political actions. Boyle, who succeeded Allyson Schwartz and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015, voiced his stance through a series of tweets.
On March 14, 2025, Boyle addressed the alleged attacks on Philadelphia jobs by Donald Trump and Elon Musk. "Once again, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are attacking good-paying Philadelphia jobs and betraying our neighbors who count on these critical services," he stated. Boyle emphasized that such actions would negatively impact children and create national chaos. He assured his followers of his continued efforts to counter these developments.
Later that day, Boyle reiterated his opposition to a partisan funding bill proposed by Republicans. "I am proud to stand up and fight against the Republicans’ partisan funding bill," he declared. He criticized Trump and Musk for allegedly withholding congressionally appropriated funds illegally and urged Democrats to oppose the bill as it could further empower them.
