Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, the U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 1st District, recently shared updates from his meetings and activities on his social media platform. Fitzpatrick, who has been in Congress since 2017 and was previously succeeded by his brother Mike Fitzpatrick, regularly engages with his community to discuss prevalent issues such as housing, trade, and healthcare. Born in Philadelphia in 1973, Fitzpatrick resides in Levittown, Pennsylvania.

On March 27, 2025, Fitzpatrick tweeted about his meeting with Steve Chintaman from the National Apartment Association to discuss housing access. He emphasized, "Great meeting with Steve Chintaman of the @NAAhq, from my hometown of Levittown, to discuss how we can expand access to housing in a more sustainable and forward-thinking way. Rental housing is a cornerstone of every thriving community. With the NAA serving as the leading voice."

Later that day, Fitzpatrick addressed concerns regarding the influx of direct-to-consumer shipments affecting America’s retail and distribution sectors. Expressing these concerns, he noted, "America’s retail and distribution industries are facing a serious and accelerating threat: an overwhelming surge of direct-to-consumer shipments entering the U.S. each day under outdated policies that allow foreign sellers to bypass trade laws, avoid safety standards, and pay."

Additionally, Fitzpatrick detailed his discussion with community members and healthcare professionals about current healthcare challenges. His tweet stated, "Great meeting with PA-1 community members Dr. Pamela Goldman of Yardley, along with osteopathic medical students Danielle Lapierre of Levittown and Surali Panchani of North Wales—dedicated members of the @AOAforDOs—for a timely discussion on the challenges facing our healthcare."
