Erie County issued the following announcement on May 18.

Erie County Council has canceled “On-the-Road” meetings in June, July, August and September throughout Erie County. Council will hold Regular Meetings on the scheduled days via Zoom Conference calling. Meeting agendas and all information on how to connect to those meetings will be found at https://eriecountypa.gov/.

Meetings that are affected include:

  • Tuesday, June 9, 2020 (formerly scheduled at the Stancliff Firehall)
  • Tuesday, July 21, 2020 (formerly scheduled at Asbury Woods Nature Center)
  • Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 (formerly scheduled at the Albion Fire Hall)
  • Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 (formerly scheduled at Brevillier Village)
Council Chairman André R. Horton: “The pandemic situation creates too many complications for having meetings outside the Courthouse. The organizations who agreed to house our meetings, did so before the onset of COVID 19. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the health and safety of the Erie Community is our top priority.”
