BOROUGH OF BRENTWOOD: Brentwood Again Successfully Applies for Funding to Improve Park

Nonprofit funding

Borough of Brentwood issued the following announcement on Oct 7.

As our contractor prepares to place the finishing touches on the renovation of our public pool, Brentwood Borough has received news that will permit the sounds of construction to return to our park next spring. The municipality has been awarded a $167,200 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources.

This funding will facilitate the installation of the only proposed new structure that was included on the park master site plan but that has not yet been erected.

The building, which will be located at field level in the stadium, will contain much needed storage space for athletic equipment, a storm shelter that can be utilized by athletes during inclement weather, and new restrooms that will conveniently serve both participants in organized sporting events and those residents who use the walking track.
