CITY OF ALLENTOWN: Council Approves 2021 Budget

Approved

City of Allentown issued the following announcement on Dec 3.

City Council has approved a 2021 General Fund budget of $119,518,507.  The vote was 6-0.  Councilperson Cynthia Mota was absent.

The budget holds the property tax rate stable at 7.31 mills. The Business Privilege Tax remains stable, as does the $52 Local Services Tax.  Refuse Collection and Stormwater Management fees remain flat.

Mayor Ray O’Connell praised councilmembers for conducting a very good budget season.  O’Connell said, “We do it the right way, and we will continue doing it the right way.”
