The Saint Francis University Community Blanket collection is in full swing and will continue through Tuesday, November 1. Two hundred sixty-three (263) beautiful handmade blankets have been collected since the project kicked off on September 28. All blankets should be new and handmade in a size suitable for small hands (36 by 48 inches) in kid-friendly colors. While any materials are acceptable, washable fabrics and yarns are desirable as these blankets will get a lot of use and see many washings. Blankets can be dropped off in the crib located at the entrance of Scotus Hall. For more information contact Melita O’Donnell at modonnell@francis.edu or call 814-472-3004.
