A group that backed the appointment of former Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Richard Levine to the position of US Assistant Secretary of Health has endorsed Kamala Harris for U.S. President.

Levine — a cross-dresser who goes by the name "Rachel" — was the first known cross-dresser nominated to a Senate-confirmable position.

“President-elect Biden, like he has done throughout his time in public service, is helping to break down barriers,” said Mara Keisling, then-executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality (which has since changed its name to Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE), in a January 2021 statement

The group also has endorsed Harris' presidential campaign.

“Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE) is proud to announce our endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency,” said the group in a statement. “Since taking office as our nation’s first woman of color Vice President, Harris has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing the well-being of the transgender community.”

The group’s endorsement of Harris mentions the Biden-Harris Administration’s move to enable U.S. citizens “to choose the gender marker ‘X’ on their passports.”

The endorsement statement also references Harris’s support for irreversible chemical castration and ‘sex change’ medical experimentation for children.

A4TE also lists a collection of congressional members as “Trans Equality Champions” for the their support for the group’s federal legislative agenda, specifically citing their opposition to a House bill to prevent boys from participating in girls sports.

The group also cited its opposition to the “Parents Bill of Rights Act,” which would allow parents to have a list of books and reading materials available in school libraries, require teachers to provide class curricula to parents, and would require schools to disclose a student’s “gender identity” to parents and guardians.

A4TE’s website features a paper on “puberty blocking” drugs and “why they're an important healthcare option for transgender youth,” as well as a page dedicated to helping Pennsylvania cross-dressing children legally change their names.
