Common Cause Pennsylvania is urging eligible voters to register by Monday, October 21, for the upcoming November election. Voters can register in person at local election offices, online, or by mail.
The organization is part of a large nonpartisan voter protection coalition that annually recruits and trains volunteers nationwide to assist voters. These volunteers help navigate voting rules and combat misinformation.
A toll-free voter assistance hotline is available for those encountering issues. The hotline connects callers with trained experts and offers services in English (866-OUR-VOTE), Spanish (888-VE-Y-VOTA), Asian languages (888-API-VOTE), and Arabic (844-YALLA-US).
Philip Hensley-Robin, Executive Director of Common Cause Pennsylvania, emphasized the importance of registration: “Voting is how we hold power accountable from Harrisburg to Washington, DC, but we can’t do that unless we’re registered to vote.” He highlighted the significance of the November elections where voters will select a U.S. President, 18 members of Congress, and other state leaders.
Key deadlines for registration are October 21 for all methods: in-person, online, and by mail.
