In a tweet posted on December 12, 2024, Fitzpatrick emphasized his dedication to transparency and communication: "I take very seriously the concerns of my constituents and the broader American public. Transparency and clear communication are non-negotiable, and I will continue to push for them to ensure the safety, security, and peace of mind of our PA-1 community and our nation."

On the same day, Fitzpatrick also mentioned his coordination with federal law enforcement regarding certain incidents: "ICYMI: I am actively coordinating with federal law enforcement and national security officials to address these incidents and will be receiving a classified briefing to gain a full understanding of the situation."

Later that day, he addressed reports concerning unexplained drone activity in Philadelphia and New Jersey: "Despite today’s reports stating the unexplained drone activity in the Philadelphia region and neighboring New Jersey appear to be lawfully operated manned aircraft, and that no evidence of foreign involvement from coastal vessels has been found, far too many critical questions…"
