Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district, has been active on social media discussing his recent legislative efforts and collaborations. Fitzpatrick, who succeeded Mike Fitzpatrick in 2017, shared details about his initiatives to address issues affecting seniors and highlighted his bipartisan leadership roles.

On January 23, 2025, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick announced the introduction of the bipartisan Expanding Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act through a tweet. He stated: "ICYMI: Last week, I introduced the bipartisan Expanding Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act to finally address Medicare’s outdated ban on hearing aid coverage and to provide the care our seniors deserve." He emphasized that nearly 48 million Americans suffer from hearing loss.

In another tweet posted on January 23, 2025, he elaborated on the specifics of his proposed legislation. He explained: "My legislation will: Expand Medicare to cover hearing aids for beneficiaries. Remove barriers that isolate seniors and rob them of their independence. Ensure that every senior has access to the care they need to live a fulfilling life."

Later that day, Rep. Fitzpatrick expressed pride in leading a bipartisan effort with Rep. Tom Suozzi as part of their work with the Problem Solvers Caucus. In his words: "Proud to lead the Bipartisan @ProbSolveCaucus with my friend and 115th Classmate, @RepTomSuozzi."
