On January 29, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick congratulated Ethan Shlossberg of Troop 46 for earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He emphasized its significance in ensuring public safety by stating: "With the signing of the Laken Riley Act into law, we deliver an unmistakable message: the safety of the American people is absolute and non-negotiable." This legislation aims to enforce strict measures against those who threaten innocent lives.
