FOIA Request to Centre County Election Department Regarding Upcoming Spring Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.
In a bid to uphold transparency and accountability in local governmental affairs, we at Keystone Today have sent a formal request to the Centre County Election Department. The request was made under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, seeking comprehensive information about all candidates running for the upcoming spring election.
The requested data includes basic identification details of the candidates such as their first, middle, and last names. We also asked for specific information about the office they are running for including its jurisdiction and their party affiliation.
In addition to this, we sought contact information for each candidate which encompasses their address, phone number, and email address.
