The COVID-19 virus only kills 0.20 of those up to the age of 49.

With such a low mortality rate, many businesses are done asking why Gov. Tom Wolf has mandated they be locked down.

Altogether, 356 of the state’s businesses have decided enough is enough and they will stay open in defiance of Wolf’s orders.

A Facebook group has been set up to list all businesses determined to stay open across the state.

“In order to best support the businesses of PA, the Pennsylvania Opening Businesses team is requesting that you add locations to your posts about dining in. Leaving this information out does nothing to help the businesses that we are trying to support and does nothing to prevent them from a visit by the state. It's counterproductive,” the administrators of Pennsylvania Opening Businesses / Defying the Governor said in a post.

The state has been using the liquor board to police lockdown efforts.

Across the state, liquor control enforcement officials have done 60,000 COVID-19 inspections  on businesses to ensure they are following Wolf’s policies. Thus far, businesses in the state have been issued 1,804 warnings and 403 violations for not complying with lockdown measures.
