Desales University issued the following announcement on Mar. 28.
More than 300 guests gathered at Hotel Bethlehem for A Night for DeSales, which raised more than $100,000 for The DeSales Fund.
“A Night for DeSales is an evening to celebrate by gathering friends and family of the University together to enjoy good food, music, and friendship while raising money for student financial aid,” says Sylvia Doyle, director of special events.
It was the first time in more than a decade that the event was held off-campus, allowing for a variety of food and entertainment, including performances by Daniel Mies ’00 and Fran Prisco ’94.
“There was so much to do,” says Doyle. “The event was a success because our attendees really enjoyed themselves. We celebrated DeSales University and raised money for student financial aid.”
Proceeds from the event benefit The DeSales Fund, which helps students through scholarships and financial aid, technology and equipment, and athletic and art facilities.
