Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving Pennsylvania's 1st District in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates via his social media platform on November 23, 2024. Fitzpatrick, who has been a congressional representative since 2017, expressed support for a colleague and highlighted legislative progress.

On November 23, Fitzpatrick congratulated Lori Chavez-DeRemer, celebrating her leadership role and expressing confidence in her ability to help labor communities thrive. He conveyed his best wishes by stating, "Congratulations, my friend, @LChavezDeRemer! We couldn’t be prouder of you and know that under your exceptional leadership our labor communities will thrive. Best wishes, Madame Secretary!"

Fitzpatrick also announced significant progress regarding environmental legislation with a post at the same time: "ICYMI: My bipartisan, bicameral Delaware River Basin Conservation Reauthorization Act unanimously passed out of the House Committee on Natural Resources—a major step forward for one of our nation’s most vital watersheds." This act has awarded substantial funding since its inception in 2016.
