Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, expressed his sentiments in a series of posts on April 12 and 13, 2025. Fitzpatrick, a Philadelphia native born in 1973, resides in Levittown and holds a BS degree from La Salle University and a JD from Pennsylvania State University, Carlisle.

On April 12, Fitzpatrick paid tribute to 1st Sgt. Corey Nawrocki of the USMC. He described Nawrocki as “a son of Lansdale, a decorated Marine, and a true American hero,” acknowledging his 20-year service, during which he received a Bronze Star for Valor and two Purple Hearts. Fitzpatrick emphasized Nawrocki’s readiness to defend freedom, saying, “he didn’t hesitate—volunteering to join” in challenging times. "USMC 1st Sgt. And when freedom was threatened once more, he didn’t hesitate—volunteering to join".

Later on, Fitzpatrick extended his wishes for Passover, highlighting the festival’s themes of reflection and renewal. He expressed a desire for peace, light, and strength for all celebrating the occasion, particularly those within Pennsylvania’s 1st district. Fitzpatrick concluded with holiday greetings, saying, “Wishing all in PA-1 and beyond a meaningful and joyous Passover.
