Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, expressed his sentiments in a series of posts on April 12 and 13, 2025. Fitzpatrick, a Philadelphia native born in 1973, resides in Levittown and holds a BS degree from La Salle University and a JD from Pennsylvania State University, Carlisle.
On April 12, Fitzpatrick paid tribute to 1st Sgt. Corey Nawrocki of the USMC. He described Nawrocki as “a son of Lansdale, a decorated Marine, and a true American hero,” acknowledging his 20-year service, during which he received a Bronze Star for Valor and two Purple Hearts. Fitzpatrick emphasized Nawrocki’s readiness to defend freedom, saying, “he didn’t hesitate—volunteering to join” in challenging times. "USMC 1st Sgt.
