Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick has recently shared updates from his community engagement activities in Pennsylvania, commemorating the efforts of local firefighters. Fitzpatrick, who has been serving the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 1st district since 2017, conveyed his experiences and messages through social media postings.
On April 13, 2025, Fitzpatrick attended a recognition dinner hosted by the Bristol Borough Fire Association. He described it as "A special evening in Bristol Borough honoring the extraordinary members of the Bristol Borough Fire Association at their annual Recognition Dinner." The event was a tribute to the local firefighters who volunteer to "serve and protect our community."
Later the same evening, Fitzpatrick participated in the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department's annual awards banquet. He expressed his appreciation for the commitment of the firefighters, stating, "What a great time joining my friends from the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department for their annual awards banquet—a night to celebrate true public servants who put service before self, day in and day out." During the event, Lieutenant Steven Hawkins was recognized as the Firefighter of the Year.
In addition to honoring local heroes, Fitzpatrick extended warm wishes to his community for Palm Sunday. He wrote, "To everyone in our community and beyond, wishing you a blessed Palm Sunday." His message highlighted the thematic significance of faith, humility, and hope as Holy Week commenced.
Brian Fitzpatrick represents Pennsylvania’s 1st district and has been in office since 2017, succeeding his brother Mike Fitzpatrick. Brian Fitzpatrick was born in Philadelphia in 1973 and resides in Levittown. His academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree from La Salle University and a Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University, Carlisle.
