The following day, February 3, 2025, he congratulated two Eagle Scouts from Troop 147 and Troop 11 for their accomplishments. "Congratulations to Hunter Stack of Troop 147 and Matthew Pienkowski of Troop 11 for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout—an honor that recognizes their leadership and dedication to our community." He mentioned Hunter Stack's project involved constructing rehabilitation shelters for wildlife.

Later on February 3, Rep. Fitzpatrick expressed his sorrow over the death of U.S. Capitol Police Recruit Officer Christopher Katz.
