He posted: " Upper Makefield Residents: Sunoco has established a rapid response hotline that operates 24/7 for local residents who have questions or concerns." The hotline is designed for inquiries related to potential contamination from a pipeline leak.

Additionally, on the same day, Rep. Fitzpatrick called upon federal authorities to address this environmental issue more robustly. He wrote: "Today, I called on @PHMSA_DOT Acting Administrator Ben Kochman to utilize the Agency’s full resources and regulatory authority to address the serious concerns surrounding the Sunoco pipeline leak in our Upper Makefield community." This appeal underscores ongoing worries about detection failures concerning pipeline integrity.
