On February 9, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick proposed a friendly wager to fellow Congressman Jason Smith regarding the Super Bowl outcome. "Hey, @RepJasonSmith—how about a friendly little Super Bowl wager? Loser has to wear the winner’s jersey for a photo on the Speaker’s Balcony." He humorously added that he looked forward to seeing Smith "decked out in Eagles green."
Following the Philadelphia Eagles' victory on February 10, 2025, Fitzpatrick tweeted jubilantly about their win and reiterated his challenge to Rep. Smith. "FLY EAGLES FLY The Lombardi Trophy is headed HOME, where it belongs @RepJasonSmith—see ya on the balcony in GREEN "
Later that day, Fitzpatrick commented on the Eagles' performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. "Woke up from an amazing dream this morning that the @Eagles totally demolished the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl." His tweet reflected his excitement over what he described as a dream come true.
