On February 11, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick expressed his commitment to transparency and safety concerning ingredients in food and products available in the United States. He stated: "Since coming to Congress, I’ve made it my mission to fight for transparency and safety in the food and products we rely on. The truth is both alarming and unacceptable: ingredients banned across Europe and much of the world continue to be found in countless US foods, cosmetics,…"
Later that day, he announced the return of Marc Fogel from Russia after over three years of detention. Fitzpatrick wrote: "Tonight, another American comes home. After more than three years of wrongful detention in a Russian penal colony, Marc Fogel—a devoted husband, father, son, and teacher from our Pennsylvania community—will soon be back on U.S. soil, reunited with his family and free at last."
In another post dated February 11th as well, Fitzpatrick shared about meeting Vedika Deshpande at North Penn High School in Lansdale. He remarked: "This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Vedika Deshpande, a senior at North Penn in Lansdale... From the moment we sat down, it was evident that Vedika is an exceptional young leader..."
