Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 1st district, shared insights and activities through a series of tweets. Fitzpatrick, who has been a member of Congress since 2017, addressed healthcare spending, cancer advocacy, and his personal connection to Philadelphia sports.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick highlighted a significant issue within the U.S. healthcare system during a hearing with the Ways and Means Committee. He noted that "the U.S. invests less than 3% of healthcare spending on preventive services," which he deemed insufficient. He emphasized his support for early screening and detection initiatives as part of prevention efforts ("At today’s @WaysandMeansGOP hearing...").

The following day, February 12, 2025, Fitzpatrick tweeted about meeting Patricia Fitzgerald from Feasterville on Capitol Hill. She was advocating for Hope for Stomach Cancer and those affected by the disease across Pennsylvania's 1st district and nationwide. As Co-Chair of the Bipartisan House Cancer Caucus, Fitzpatrick reiterated his commitment to this cause ("Great meeting with Feasterville’s Patricia Fitzgerald...").

Later on February 12, Fitzpatrick expressed his enthusiasm for being an Eagles fan in a tweet celebrating Philadelphia's football culture. He described it as "a legacy passed down through generations," highlighting how deeply ingrained the team's spirit is in the local community ("Being an @Eagles fan isn’t just about football...").
