Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania's 1st district since 2017, shared updates on his recent activities through a series of tweets. On March 12, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick tweeted about a meeting with Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity. He stated: "Had a great meeting this morning with @PATreasurer Stacy Garrity discussing our shared commitment to strengthening financial security in PA-1 and across the commonwealth. In another tweet from March 12th, Fitzpatrick addressed an issue affecting veterans: "Our veterans are twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS as the general population, yet many do not survive long enough to meet the arbitrary 8 yr. disability requirement for their spouses to receive full VA benefits."
