Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 1st district since 2017, recently shared his thoughts on several key issues via social media. Fitzpatrick, who is also the Co-Chair of the ALS Caucus, addressed matters ranging from veterans' rights to fiscal responsibility in Congress.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. Fitzpatrick emphasized the importance of supporting families of those who served in the military. He stated, "This is not just an oversight—it’s a fundamental failure to honor the sacrifice of those who served." He introduced the Justice for ALS Veterans Act aimed at removing restrictions that affect surviving spouses and families.

Later that day, he met with Caroline Litchfield and Joseph Wolk, CFOs of Merck and Johnson & Johnson respectively. Following this meeting, he remarked on Twitter about strengthening U.S. leadership in medical innovation: "Had a great meeting with Caroline Litchfield, CFO of @Merck, and Joseph Wolk, CFO of @JNJNews—two leaders at the forefront of medical innovation—on strengthening U.S. leadership in this critical field."

Fitzpatrick also expressed concerns over fiscal responsibility within Congress on March 12th: "Leadership requires accountability. If Congress fails to fulfill its most basic duty—keeping the government running—lawmakers shouldn’t collect a paycheck." He highlighted that such fiscal incompetence would be unacceptable in any other workplace across America.
